Ephesus Excursion

General Description

This excursion takes you from Bodrum to Ephesus, one of the world’s most impressive open-air museums, where you will explore Greco-Roman archaeological treasures on the shores of the Aegean Sea.

Itinerary

The activity begins with pickup from your Bodrum hotel at the specified time. During the journey, we will make a stop for breakfast. Upon arrival in Ephesus, we will begin a guided tour that includes the facade of the Library of Celsus, with its columns and statues of Eros, Nike, and Medusa, and the Great Theatre, the Fountain of Trajan, the Odeon, and the Temple of Hadrian, with friezes narrating mythological stories. We will also visit the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. After the tour, we will enjoy a buffet-style lunch at a local restaurant, with a variety of salads, typical dishes, and desserts. Subsequently, we will head to a traditional jewelry workshop to observe Turkish goldsmithing. After twelve hours, we will conclude the excursion with the return to your hotel in Bodrum.
