Detailed Itinerary

The adventure begins with pickup from your hotel in Istanbul, from where you will head west towards Troy. During the journey, there will be stops for rest. Upon arrival in Eceabat, on the shores of the Dardanelles Strait, you will have free time to have breakfast at one of its local restaurants. Next, you will take a 25-minute ferry to Çanakkale, followed by a minibus transfer to the archaeological site of Troy.

Once there, you will explore the archaeological site, discovering defensive walls, altars, house remains, and a replica of the iconic Trojan Horse. The guide will help you unravel the secrets of the Trojan War and Homer’s Iliad, transporting you 3000 years back in time. After the visit, you will return to Çanakkale to take the ferry back to Eceabat, where you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before starting the return journey to Istanbul.

Practical Information

The total duration of the activity is 18 hours. Hotel pickup is available only for accommodations in the Taksim (between 6:00 and 6:20 AM) or Sultanahmet (between 6:30 and 7:00 AM) areas. If your hotel is not located in these areas, a nearby meeting point will be arranged. The activity is not wheelchair accessible and pets are not allowed. It is recommended to book at least 3 days in advance to secure your spot, and the voucher is electronic, so you must bring it on your mobile device.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel the reservation free of charge up to 24 hours before the start of the activity. If the cancellation is made with less notice, you arrive late, or do not show up, no refund will be offered.
