This tour transports you to the past of Constantinople to explore its ancient walls and Istanbul’s most colorful neighborhoods, culminating with a relaxing Bosphorus cruise. It is an essential experience to immerse yourself in the city’s rich Byzantine and Christian heritage.

Detailed Itinerary

After pickup from your hotel, we will head to the imposing Walls of Constantinople, built in the 4th century, where we will enjoy unique panoramic views. We will continue to the Yedikule Fortress, known as the Fortress of the Seven Towers, to explore its dungeons and the Golden Gate.

We will visit the Kariye Museum or Church of the Holy Savior in Chora, famous for its exceptionally preserved Byzantine mosaics and frescoes. Then, we will delve into the multicultural neighborhoods of Fener and Balat, walking along cobblestone streets to discover gems such as the Church of St. Stephen of the Bulgarians, the Church of St. Mary of Blachernae, and the Church of St. George (Aya Yorgi).

The experience culminates with a luxury Bosphorus cruise, sailing between two continents while viewing iconic monuments like the Dolmabahçe Palace and Rumeli Fortress. During the journey, Turkish tea and coffee with snacks will be served. We will make a stop in the village of Kanlica, on the Asian shore, to try its famous traditional yogurt before returning to the port. Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel after approximately seven hours of touring.
