2-Day Cappadocia Excursion

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

The excursion begins with pickup from your hotel in Antalya at the indicated time. During the journey into the interior of Turkey, you will stop for breakfast in the Taurus Mountains at an altitude of 1825 meters, where you can admire panoramic views. Then, you will visit the Saratlı Underground City, built by Christian communities, and explore historical sites such as the ancient cities of Kaya and Çam Kulesi, a 13th-century Byzantine fortress, and a church dedicated to the Virgin Mary. After lunch on your own, you will enter the Devrent Valley to see the famous fairy chimneys, followed by a visit to the traditional village of Çavuşin, the Church of St. John the Baptist, and a viewpoint for photos. The day ends at the Göreme Open Air Museum, with its chapels and churches carved into the rock, before arriving at the hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 2

After breakfast at the hotel, you will explore the banks of the Red River, with its spectacular fairy chimneys, caves, and valleys. You will continue to the Pigeon Valley, between Göreme and Uçhisar, climbing to the highest part of Cappadocia for a panoramic view. After free time for lunch, you will begin the return to your hotel in Antalya, with an estimated arrival between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

Accommodation

The tour includes 1 night of accommodation on a half-board basis at the Avanos Duru Hotel (2 stars) or one of similar category, ensuring comfort during your stay.

Cancellation Policy
