Tour Description

Embark on a six-day adventure that will take you to explore the most fascinating places in Turkey, starting from Istanbul. This tour will allow you to discover everything from the capital Ankara to the natural wonders of Cappadocia and Pamukkale, including the historic sites of Ephesus and Izmir.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Istanbul – Ankara

The tour begins with a pickup in Istanbul at the indicated time, crossing the intercontinental bridge to Ankara, the Turkish capital located 450 kilometers away. After approximately five hours of travel, you will arrive at the hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Ankara, Saratli and Cappadocia

After breakfast, you will explore Ankara by visiting the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and the Mausoleum of Ataturk. Then, you will head to Saratli, an underground city built by Christian communities, before continuing to Cappadocia for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Cappadocia

You will dedicate the day to discovering the famous Cappadocia region, with its unique rock formations, fairy chimneys, and lunar landscapes. You will visit the Goreme Valley with its rock-cut churches, the troglodyte village of Uçhisar, the Paşabag valley, and the Derbent valley with artisan workshops.

Day 4: Pamukkale

After leaving Cappadocia, you will make a stop at the Sultanhan Caravanserai before arriving in Pamukkale. You will have free time to admire the “Cotton Castle,” formed by calcareous thermal pools and petrified waterfalls, although bathing is not permitted.

Day 5: Ephesus and Izmir

You will visit Ephesus, a city dedicated to Artemis, exploring the Odeon, Temple of Hadrian, Library of Celsus, Theater, and the House of the Virgin Mary. Then, you will stop at a leather production center before heading to Izmir for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Izmir

Depending on the chosen option, you will have a free day in Izmir or return to Istanbul by plane or bus (with an estimated duration of 6-7 hours).

Cancellation Conditions

If you cancel more than 7 days in advance, a penalty of 100 EUR per passenger applies. Cancellations with less notice, late arrivals, or no-shows are non-refundable.

Optional Activities

You can add a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia at sunrise, which does not interfere with the scheduled visits.
