This excursion is specially designed for those arriving at Kusadasi port on a cruise and wishing to explore the impressive archaeological site of Ephesus. During the visit, you will be able to admire iconic monuments such as the Temple of Hadrian, the Library of Celsus, and the Terrace Houses, all in a setting that will transport you back to Greco-Roman antiquity.

Detailed Itinerary

The meeting will take place at the Kusadasi cruise port at the agreed time. From there, we will head to the Ephesus site, where we will begin a comprehensive tour of this ancient city. We will walk among its ruins, discovering architectural gems like the Roman Theatre, and learn historical curiosities, such as that Ephesus was the main commercial center of the Mediterranean and once housed 200,000 inhabitants.

Subsequently, you will have the option to visit the Terrace Houses, where you can observe mosaics and frescoes that decorated the homes of the ancient inhabitants, as well as learn details about their lifestyle, heating systems, and workshops.

To conclude, we will visit a local leather factory and, if time permits, the Kusadasi market, where you will have free time to explore local handicrafts. The excursion will end with the transfer back to the port after six hours of activity.
