This tour takes you to explore the impressive archaeological site of Ephesus, located in Turkey’s Izmir province. Detailed Itinerary

After pickup from your accommodation, we will head inland. The first stop will be at the House of the Virgin Mary, a revered site according to Christian tradition, where we will review its biblical history. Next, we will travel five kilometers north to visit the Ephesus site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the guided tour, we will see monumental jewels such as the Library of Celsus, a sumptuous bibliographic archive from the Roman Empire; the Temple of Hadrian, built by the Spanish emperor; and the Roman Theater, whose seating is excellently preserved. Afterwards, we will move to the city of Selçuk to enjoy a lunch with local specialties. We will finish by visiting the ruins of the Temple of Artemis and the 14th-century İsa Bey Mosque before returning to your hotel in Kusadasi.
