Excursion to Pamukkale and Hierapolis

Overview

This excursion takes you to explore two UNESCO World Heritage sites in Turkey: Pamukkale, with its fascinating natural travertine terraces, and Hierapolis, an ancient sacred city. It is an experience full of culture, history, and unique landscapes.

Itinerary

The adventure begins with pickup from your hotel in Ephesus. First, you will visit Hierapolis, a Hellenistic archaeological site where you can walk through highlights such as the Temple of Apollo, the Theater, the Necropolis, the Roman Baths, the Gate of Domitian, and the Byzantine Gate.

Then, you will move to Pamukkale, known as the “cotton castle,” to admire its famous white terraces formed by mineral-rich hot springs. After the visit, a stop for lunch at a restaurant is included, as well as free time at Cleopatra’s Pool, where you can enjoy a relaxing bath.

Finally, you will return to Ephesus, arriving at approximately 8:30 PM.
