Excursion to Pamukkale and Hierapolis

General Description

This excursion takes you into the interior of Turkey to explore two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the natural pools of Pamukkale, known as the “cotton castle,” and the Roman ruins of Hierapolis. It is a complete experience that combines nature and history in a day full of discoveries.

Itinerary

The adventure begins with pickup from your hotel in Dalaman at the agreed time. After a journey of approximately three hours north, you will arrive at Pamukkale, where its famous white travertine terraces await. You will discover the origin of their characteristic color and the properties attributed to these thermal waters.

After admiring the white cascades and unique landscape, you will head to the archaeological complex of Hierapolis. Here you will explore one of the most extensive necropolises of the Roman world, with tombs of illustrious figures, and the impressive Roman theater that once held up to 20,000 spectators in its heyday.

To recharge, you will enjoy a typical Turkish meal at a local restaurant. Finally, you will begin the return journey to your hotel in Dalaman, concluding the excursion after approximately 12 hours in total.
