Immerse yourself in the fascinating history of Classical Antiquity with this excursion that will take you to three of the most important enclaves in Asia Minor: Priene, Miletus and Didyma. In a single day, you will explore archaeological sites that witnessed the splendor of Greek civilization in this region.

Detailed Itinerary

The adventure begins with pickup from your hotel in Kusadasi. From there, we will venture into the Aydin region to visit the main archaeological sites of Ionia, the area of Asia Minor that was colonized by the ancient Greeks.

Our first stop will be Priene, an Ionian city notable for its rectilinear urban planning. We will tour its ruins, including the agora (public square), the theater and the bouleuterion (council building), to understand how its inhabitants lived.

We will continue to Miletus, one of the richest and most powerful city-states of Ancient Greece. Here we will explore the remains of the theater, temples and other public buildings, while learning about historical figures such as Thales of Miletus, whose contributions to mathematics and geometry were fundamental.

After Miletus, we will head to Didyma, where you will have free time for lunch. Subsequently, we will visit the famous Temple of Apollo, known for its oracle, one of the most respected of the time.

Finally, we will begin the return to Kusadasi, where we will drop you off at your hotel approximately nine and a half hours after the start of the activity.
