Kekova and Demre Tour

Overview

This full-day tour takes you from Antalya to explore some of the region’s most fascinating historical and natural treasures. You will combine a boat trip on crystal-clear waters with visits to archaeological sites and a place of great religious significance.

Detailed Itinerary

The adventure begins with pickup from your Antalya hotel at the specified time. From there, you will be transferred to Demre port to board a traditional Turkish boat. You will sail to Kekova Island, where you can observe the remains of the ancient sunken city of Simena while listening to the local legends. You will disembark to explore the island and make a stop at Burc Bay for a refreshing swim.

Back on land, you will visit the ancient city of Myra, famous for its amphitheater and rock-cut tombs, an image that will undoubtedly impress you. Afterwards, you will enjoy a lunch with traditional Turkish dishes in the area.

The next stop is the Church of St. Nicholas in Demre, where you will discover this place’s connection to the figure of Santa Claus. You will have the option to enter the temple on your own. Finally, you will return to your hotel in Antalya, completing a tour of approximately 10 hours.
